The Santo Niño Assembly 2762, through the leadership of FN Oliver David, received membership drive materials from the Knights of Columbus headquarters in the United States of America.
This will enable the councils within the assembly to present the order to prospects and potential members with up-to-date programs and services that will raise awareness and interest to join.
The Santo Niño Assembly 2762, through the effort of the Faithful Comptroller SK Jufel John Ellema, opened an account with the Simbayanan ni Maria Multipurpose Cooperative to secure and protect the Common Welfare Fund (CWF). This will help ensure the proper fund usage for the welfare of the assembly members.
The Santo Niño Council under the leadership of the new Grand Knight, SK Edwin Baquiran, conducted their first degree exemplification last 24 July 2022 at the San Lorenzo Ruiz de Taguig chamber.
In attendance is our new District Deputy, SK Edilberto de Jesus, outgoing DD SK Bong Ellema, PFN Wilmor Saldo, GK Edwin Baquiran, DGK and FN Oliver David, SK Niel Locsin, SK Jufel Ellema, SK Avelino Leal, SK Remar Quanki, and SK Jomar Conchada.
The following are the new members of 11444: Mario Ritualo Marinas, Arbie Magdaluyo, Joshua Sillero, Ariel Magdaluyo, Krist Patrick Sillero, Paul Gringo Castillo, Rolan Jay Ajet, Jay Jay Penamante, Kevin Pautin, Ervin Orollos, Arnold Belarmino, Bonifacio Soliman, and Noel Pelayo.
In relation to the published Sto. Niño Assembly 2762 officers in the previous issue (Volume 1 Issue 6), and with the election of new officers in San Lorenzo Ruiz de Taguig Council near the end of June, herewith are the updated newly elected and appointed Sto. Magandang araw po sa inyong lahat.
Isa pong hindi inaasahan na pangyayari ang dumating sa aking buhay bilang kasapi ng ating Asembliya. Sa gitna po ng ating pagpupulong ay ini-nomina ako at inihalal ng mga dumalo bilang ating susunond na Faithful Navigator (FN), na alam ko pong may kaakibat na seryosong responsibilidad sa ating samahan. Bagamat ako po ay kinakabahan sa mga inaasahan sa akin, ako po ay lubos na nagpapasalamat.
Una po ay nagpapasalamat ako sa ating Poong Maykapal na nagkaloob sa akin ng oportunidad na ito upang lalong makapaglingkod sa ating samahan at sa ating mga kinabibilangan na komunidad. Naniniwala po ako na ito po ay grasyang mula sa Kanya at hindi dahil sa aking sariling kakayanan. At dahil sa Kanya po nanggaling ang biyayang ito, alam ko po na hindi Niya ako pababayaan sa landas na akin ngayong tatahakin bilang inyong FN. At kung dumating man po sa punto na Kanya pong ipabatid sa akin na tapos na ang aking tungkulin sa posisyong ito, malugod ko po itong ipapasa sa ating susunod na pamunuan. Walang anumang bagay na mayroon tayo na hindi nanggaling sa Kanya.
Nais ko rin pong magpasalamat sa aking mga Brother Knights sa aming konseho (Council 11444). Sa nakalipas na halos isang taon na kami ay magkakasama sa aming pang-araw-araw na pagdarasal ng Santo Rosaryo at ilang mga gawain sa ating parokya, natutunan ko po ang ating mahalagang tungkulin sa Simbahan. Higit sa ating presensya bilang mga pinagpipitaganang mga Honor Guards ang tawag sa atin na maglingkod sa likod ng aktibong gawain ng parokya. At ito nga marahil ang pinakamahalaga na gawain sa ating Inang Simbahan: ang siguraduhin na naaabot natin at natutulungan ang mga kapatid at kasama nating nangangailangan.
Nagpapasalamat din po ako sa mga Sir Knights sa ating Asembliya, lalong-lalo na sa mga nagtiwala at nag-halal sa akin bilang FN. Alam ko po na marami pa akong kailangang matutunan at maunawaan bilang kasapi ng Knights of Columbus. At sinisigurado ko po sa inyo na ako ay mananatiling bukas na matuto habang aking ginagampanan ang aking tungkulin sa inyo. Nawa po ay inyong pagpasensyahan kung ako po ay magkakamali paminsan-minsan. At kung ako naman po ay maging mapagmalabis sa aking tungkulin, inaasahan ko po na ako ay inyong itatama para sa kapakanan ng ating samahan. Sana po ay patuloy ninyo akong samahan at gabayan sa aking paglilingkod sa inyo, sa ating samahan, at sa ating Simbahan. Ipagdasal po sana ninyo ako upang lagi akong maging mababang-loob at magampanan ang tungkuling naka-atang sa akin.
At huli ay nagpapasalamat po ako sa aking pamilya na patuloy sumusuporta sa aking paglilingkod. Mahirap man po ipaliwanag sa kanila ang dagsa ng ating mga gawain, hindi naman po sila nagkulang na ako ay paalalahanan na maging mabuti parati sa lahat. At alam ko po na sa likod ng aking mga tagumpay sa aking mga ginagawa ay ang kanilang walang sawang pananalangin para rito.
Muli ay maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat. Nawa ay patuloy po tayong pagpalain ng ating Poong Maykapal at gabayan ng ating Mahal na Ina at ni Blessed Michael McGivney na ating founder.

It's better to be stolen from than to loose everything you worked hard for in a house fire.
A big fire broke out last 17 March 2022 in Maharlika Village that affected at least 70 houses and affecting about 300 families.
Our assembly collected food, clothing, cash assistance and other supplies to help.
We celebrated the Feast of Sto. Niño last 16 January 2022 with the mass in the Sto. Niño Parish presided by Bishop Mylo Hubert Vergara from the Diocese of Pasig.

Amidst the pandemic, we are in the service of the community and provided food assistance through the Handog ni San Lorenzo Ruiz Community Pantry during the Feast of San Lorenzo Ruiz last 25 September 2021 in San Lorenzo Ruiz Chapel.
Hopefully we are able to alleviate the difficulty brought about by these challenging times.
Some of us may feel emotional distress having little to no physical and social interaction with friends and family, you may reach out to them through online/virtual meeting/conference applications; and make the most of the time to read, learn and practice new skills like cooking, baking, exercising for the desired weight and fitness; or have more quality time with love ones and closer relationship with God.
Let's discover and appreciate the opportunities that are available to us despite the situation.
